Challenge: Design, build and install a sign to elevate the perceived value of the property, match the existing setting and represent the history of the property.
Solution: The property includes buildings made from very large timber logs. There is at least one totem pole. The customer supplied a newly designed logo and said they liked a sign they had seen with a background using diagonal boards. We set to find the perfect logs to use for sign posts. We needed four since we were making two signs. The secondary sign was an added expense to the customer, but vital to the project and the property. Our professional eye noted early on that the secondary sign would be important, but took a bit to convince the client. They're glad they did! Both signs incorporate the timber posts, diagonal panel backer, dimensional logo with carved lettering accented with gold leaf.
